Member Protection Officer

Bond Pirates Rugby club has appointed Mr Anthony Touzell to the position of Member Protection Officer (MPO). The MPO is an independent position, responsible for providing information to members about members’ rights, responsibilities, and options to make a complaint or raise a concern.

The MPO is also responsible for investigating complaints and concerns and advising the committee, under Rugby Australia’s (RA) Code of Conduct.

Bond Pirates Rugby Club is committed to protecting the image and integrity of the club and all of its members. We take seriously the opportunity for all members to participate in the game of rugby without being subjected or subjecting others, including officials and members of other clubs, to abuse, harassment, or offensive behaviour, and in doing so promote an environment that is safe, fair, and inclusive. All members of Bond Pirates Rugby Club, whether they be a player, coach, manager, committee member, or volunteer, by their association with the club, are bound by RA’s Code of Conduct.
